For universities and higher education
LCAB Education Pilot Program
Bring product documentation, LCA, and Digital Product Passports into teaching, with free access and direct dialogue with the team building the platform.
Send inquiryEU requirements, climate footprints, and Digital Product Passports are entering more study programs. Many teachers need a practical tool students can use without mastering expert software from day one.
The LCAB Education Pilot Program gives education institutions access to LCAB as a learning platform: cases, exercises, guest lectures, and options for semester, bachelor, and innovation projects.
The program is limited so we can stay close and develop the teaching universe together with you.
What the institution gets
Free licenses for teachers and students
Access to LCAB during the teaching period for selected classes and teachers, without subscription fees in the pilot.
A teaching universe with cases and exercises
Material that helps students move from product data to documentation, CO2 overview, and DPP preparation, using realistic cases.
Guest lectures on LCA, DPP, and EU requirements
Talks on ISO 14040/14044, carbon footprint, ESPR, and digital product passports, adapted to your academic level.
Semester, bachelor, and innovation projects
Use LCAB as the working platform in projects where students document products, find data gaps, and communicate results.
Direct influence on development
Feedback from teaching and projects shapes how LCAB becomes better for learning and practice.
Who is the program for?
We are happy to work with:
• Universities and university colleges
• Engineering, design, business, and sustainability programs
• Teachers who want to connect theory to concrete product cases
• Program leads and project coordinators focused on innovation
You do not need to be LCA experts already. The program is designed to make complex requirements understandable in teaching.
Projects and collaboration
Typical formats include:
• A semester class documenting a product from materials to report
• Bachelor projects focused on DPP preparation or climate data
• Innovation projects with companies in your network
• Workshops where students map data gaps and documentation needs
Limited pilot
To support teachers and follow cases closely, we only admit a limited number of institutions in the first round.
An inquiry is not automatic acceptance. We will follow up and agree scope, class size, and period.
